Terms & Conditions — KASTLR Competitive

1. Acceptance

By registering to participate in KASTLR Competitive ("the League") or by accessing kastlr.co.za ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not participate in the League or use the Website.

These terms apply to all participants including players, team representatives, coaches and any other persons associated with a registered team.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to South African residents aged 16 and over.
You must hold a valid Steam account with Prime Status enabled and no active VAC bans.
You may only be registered on one team roster per season.
Providing false information at registration may result in immediate disqualification and a ban from future seasons.

3. Registration

Registration must be completed during the official registration window for each season.
All registration information must be accurate and up to date.
Registration is not confirmed until all eligibility checks have been completed by administration.
KASTLR Competitive reserves the right to decline any registration without explanation.

4. Rules Compliance

All participants must comply with the League Rules published at kastlr.co.za/rules.html in full at all times. The League Rules form part of these Terms and Conditions and are incorporated by reference.

KASTLR Competitive reserves the right to update the League Rules at any time. Updated rules will be published on the Website with the date of amendment.

5. Administrative Decisions

All administrative decisions by KASTLR Competitive are final unless successfully appealed in accordance with the Appeals Process in the League Rules.
KASTLR Competitive may at its sole discretion disqualify teams or ban players for violations of these terms or the League Rules.
KASTLR Competitive may cancel, postpone or modify any season, match or event at its discretion.

6. Prize Money

Prize money is awarded to eligible players as announced for each season.
Prize payments are conditional on successful off-platform identity verification as required by South African financial regulations.
Players who cannot or will not complete identity verification forfeit their prize entitlement.
KASTLR Competitive is not liable for any tax obligations arising from prize payments. Recipients are responsible for their own tax compliance.
Prize money not collected within 90 days of the Grand Final is forfeited.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

KASTLR Competitive owns all rights to the league brand, website, broadcasts and produced content.
Participants grant KASTLR Competitive a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use their in-game name, team name and match statistics for league operations, promotional and broadcast purposes.
Counter-Strike 2 is a trademark of Valve Corporation. KASTLR Competitive is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation.

8. Limitation of Liability

KASTLR Competitive is not liable for any loss or damage arising from:

Technical issues including server downtime, connectivity problems or game client errors.
Decisions made by administrators in good faith under the League Rules.
Actions of other participants including harassment, cheating or misconduct.
Cancellation or modification of matches, seasons or events.

Participation in the League is voluntary. KASTLR Competitive accepts no liability beyond what is required by applicable South African law.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
